Brake LSD Traction Control
Even with part-time 4WD, in which the front and rear wheels are directly connected, if either one of the left or right wheel idles, the other wheel loses driving power. To ensure driving force in such situations, the Jimny is equipped with an electronically controlled brake LSD traction control as standard equipment. When the drive status is switched to 4L (4WD low speed), the brakes are applied only to the wheel that idles. Since engine torque is not reduced, the driving force of the other wheel is firmly secured to achieve high escape performance.
