It’s no surprise that the first all-electric performance product from Cadillac’s V division is the quickest-accelerating production Caddy in history. What is slightly surprising is that it arrives in the form of the 2026 Lyriq-V, a nearly 6,000-pound, 615-horsepower all-electric crossover that’s in direct contrast to the manual, supercharged CT5-V Blackwing. West Coast Bureau Chief Conner Golden got an early crack at Cadillac’s latest cruise missile, putting it through its paces on both an autocross and country road, where he found it to be one of the most balanced and well-packaged performance luxury electric SUVs on the market. Beyond the monstrous power, the interior’s smart blend of premium materials, large display and physical controls is one of the best in the class. How does it drive? You’ll have to watch the full video to find out.
