The Audi A6 has just entered its 6th generation, now based on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) which underpins the new A5 & Q5 too!
I reviewed the Avant estate model which will be the most popular in the UK, however a Saloon model is also available. From launch there are 2 powertrains, a 2.0 TFSI & as tested, the 2.0 TDI with the new MHEV+ system. We currently don’t have the option of the 3.0 TFSI in the UK.
A hot RS6 version is due to be added to the range next year, expectedly offering over 700BHP & featuring a wider body kit as well as upgraded brakes & a custom suspension setup bespoke to the RS models.
The new A6 range features Audi’s new ‘Centre Stage’ interior layout we’ve seen in the new A5, Q5, & fully electric A6 & Q6 e-tron models too.
