The 2025 Volvo EX90 is the all-electric alter ego of the gas-powered XC90 three-row SUV and it comes in a couple of flavors. We tested the Twin Motor Ultra Performance trim that’s good for 510 horsepower and 671 pounds-feet of torque. The entry level version, which is also dual motor, makes 402 hp and 568 pounds-feet of torque. Inside, the EX90’s interior is a masterclass in understated refinement and quiet luxury but the cabin has some competing themes going on with design minimalism and screen maximalism. Cars.com editor Jennifer Geiger enjoyed its combination of understated luxury and modern efficiency, though it’s pricey and has some control quirks that take some getting used to.
